I brought the short length in a larger size and I have to say they are fab! I am not quite 5’1” and these were still fantastic. No drag, very comfy but needed a belt with them as they were a little lower on the waist. For any shorty out there looking for a good quality pair of winter walking trousers I would highly recommend

Craghoppers kiwi winter trousers
Brilliant pair of trousers, well lined and just the right length for little legs. Some brands have their short length at 29 ins which are to long for me.
I wore them for the first time a couple of weeks ago on a 9 mile walk and the weather was atrocious. It was a day of persistent heavy rain with thunder and lightning yet at the end of my walk my legs were still dry and very warm.
Both comfortable and practical, what,s not to like.

Toasty but loose
I took these on holiday where conditions were -6 degrees and the trousers kept me warm and toasty. As I walked, the trousers rode down and needed hitching up. Unfortunately I did not have a belt with me. The cut is a bit odd as all my other walking trousers were a bit higher round the waist and a more snug fit.

Agree with other reviewers
I have just tried on several pairs of these trousers. I'm desperate to buy a pair because they appear to be so warm. But the I totally agree totally with several other people who have experienced the sizing problem They fit the legs but are massively big around the waist/hips.

Warm and comfortable trousers
Bought these as I'm outdoors a lot in the cold weather and usually wear lots of thermals. Trousers are lovely and warm and fit comfortably, very pleased with them.

As a keen winter hiker I am always looking for more warmth. I found it in these excellent Craghopper Kiwi Pro winter-lined pants which combine streamlined good looks with warmth and comfort at a very affordable price. After several winter forays in my new hiking pants, I can highly recommend them to fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

Craghoppers Women's Kiwi Pro Winter-Lines
I'm a big fan of Craghoppers, but feel I can only give 4/5 as the fit is a bit loose round the waist (as all tend to be on me) but is a bit smaller elsewhere as it appears the lining has simply been put inside the original sized trousers, rather than making the lining the size of the originals, and putting the outer shell over the top of it. Because of this they tend to pull down at the back rear when I bend, which makes them a bit irritating to wear, and I have to wear a very tight belt to hold them up as much as possible. Having said that they are nice and warm, and keep me dry as well when I walk the dog, which is what I bought them for. Just wish the sizing of the lined pants was a better fit for me, and that they would also make them in other colours.

Warm trousers but big fitting
I bought a short leg version of these trousers for curling and they were great. My legs were not cold whilst on the ice even after a few falls! And they kept my legs dry too. My only confusion was that the size I got was quite loose around the middle so I did need to keep pulling them up. However, the next size down were so small I could not do them up. The size I got were fine but I do feel I need to get a belt to keep them up. Otherwise a great pair of trousers and fit for curling and the walking I intend to use them for in the Lake District.

Does the job
I'm a professional dog walker and recently bought these in the shorter leg - I'm 5'4". They are a great fit and very comfortable. Im outside all day and, in the recent cold temperatures, they were very warm and snug. Washed and dried well. Very satisfied.

Great for dog walking or being out in colder weather. Stretchy for bending down, shower proof, comfortable to wear, good fit (although slighter tighter than unlined version due to lining), wash well, dry quickly, no (or minimal) ironing. Please make them in other colours!

Craghoppers Women's Kiwi Pro Winter-Lined Pants
This is my 2nd pair of Craghoppers but wanted a lined pair for the winter. Wore for the first time yesterday up in the hills, very cold with snow on the tops, windy and intermittent rain. The trousers were excellent and I didn't suffer from the cold or wet.
I would have given 5 starts but they only came in one leg length. tucked the bottoms in my socks but may have to turn them up a couple of inches in the long run. But really good buy
