An updated women's walking classic, for fully waterproof comfort on the hills, paths and trails.
GORE-TEX® TechnologiesThe Scarpa Ranger has been a classic appealing to walkers and ramblers over many years, a firm favourite for those walking in warmer conditions.
This version, the Women'sScarpa Ranger II Active GTX, features Scarpa’s new Activ Fit technology and a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining, for luxurious comfort all day long.
The women's version of the Ranger 2 uses their LBE last to better fit the female form, and the absence of stitching on the inner cuff makes them more comfortable.
The new Activ Fit design combines four elements; last, sole, ergonomic design and footbed, giving you instant, out-of-the-box comfort and performance.
Ideally suited to hillwalking and rambling on paths, trails, fells and moorland.
LBE last – A new level of instant comfort
Auto-fit foam inserts in heel area provide perfect foot hold and increased comfort
Hi-Flex midsole for optimum balance of support and walking comfort
Vibram Kalden sole with integral rand protection
Calf leather upper
The Vibram Kalden sole uses PU for great shock absorption, concealed and protected by the rubber outsole and integral rand, which eliminates the complexity of adding a separate rand which can so often be the cause of quality issues down the line. The cleating pattern features unique "propeller" cleats for outstanding underfoot grip on all terrain. Scarpa use high quality full grain calf leather on these boots, approximately 2.5mm thick, ideal for fell or lighter weight hillwalking boots, which require less bedding in.
Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
Used these boots for ten years and just about to buy my third pair. I'm a gardener and walker so these boots are on my feet from morning until night, week days and weekends. Tried others, they don't compare. They eventually crack but remain waterproof.

These Are an outstanding pair of boots. Comfortable straight from the box. After three and a half years and approximately 2000 miles without leaks, blisters or any other problems, I can highly recommend them. Just regularly clean and wax them.

Very comfortable and well made but the leather cracks. My pair cracked after two years of medium use they now have gaping holes on the inside of each boot - will not buy again

Had these boots 18mths now and no issues. Comfy straight from the box, they do approx 10 miles a day on all types of terrain - they take neglect and abuse and spend most of the time caked in mud. Cleaned when I can be bothered, no cracking no splitting and when cleaned look like new. Super boots that are rarely off my feet!

Have recently purchased these boots from a very helpful salesman. But I am very disappointed with the boots as I am finding it very difficult to break them in as they always seem to hurt somewhere. I think that maybe that the leather is too hard.
