Reviewed by Dave - 12th Jan, 2019 A rugged performer I went back to Garmin after having a Fitbit for 2 years which was disappointing to say the least as it would never stay connected to my phone. So I bought the instinct after Christmas and I have to say it's very rugged. If you don't want all the touch screen and make calls from your watch but want something that does virtually everything else then this is the watch. I first tested the battery life which they claim is 14 days. So in the first 2 weeks I used the GPS for 3 hours and I'm generally active all day and I was surprised I still got the 14 days! Impressed to say the least. I have used the running mode with GPS and it is pretty accurate with no loss of signal even tho my run goes through woods where my old Fitbit would fail. The screen is easy to see in all lights and the buttons are easily accessible. Many features I haven't used yet but I'm happy with it so far.
