I needed a great backpack or my job as volunteer with mountain rescue and so far this is it.Working hard on the mountains can be sweaty work and having an airspace between you and your kit is a boon. It carries all my kit and a bit more if I need to carry some team equipment as well. Great offer at the time as well.

Smashing Super Great
I wanted a day pack I could get away with as hand luggage on the plane.
I bought this as it was the best fit and with the straps it easily reduces in size as its far bigger than what I was looking for.
I'm really happy I now have a backpack that can be small when required or large. a little more than I had budgeted for but feel I got much more. The fit and build are looking great lets see how it performs on the Camino Ingles

I wanted a backpack for day hikes. I wanted something with a sensible hip strap which I found difficult with my long torso.
This is slightly larger volume that I went looking for, but fitted better than any others I found. I've used for a new hikes & scrambles now. I get on well with it and find it very comfortable. It spreads the load well in comparison to my old schoolbag style bag.
Very happy with it, I just wish I bought years ago.

Excellent Day Pack
I spent around an hour in store selecting the best fitting back pack. I was originally looking for an Osprey pack but came away on the day with the Lowe Alpine Airzone Pro 35-45.
The airzone system works really well on warm days, providing great airflow through the gap between your back and the bag. Ingenious!
Plenty of pockets both inside and out for stashing all my gear, the extra expansion to 45 litres is useful if you need to carry some extra clothing.
The only reason I've not given it 5 stars is I've found the rain cover not to be 100% effective. My bag contents have been wet after a long rainy day on the hill.
Other than that it's an excellent pack, I'd recommend it.
