So far so good, i have had it for a month and it has been out in autumn heavy and light rain as well as cold/warm a bit of everything. I am a dog walker and out in all weather and temperatures. It is Gortex so as water resistant as they come. zips feel solid and when done up completely the zip is covered with a sheath.

hood excellent when done up, because if the design of the hood though it isnt a coat you can do up to the top with the hood down.

good pockets etc. V happy with the jacket and the price. if it came win just blue I would have been even happier but that's just me ;)

I needed a great, waterproof coat to walk my Dog 3 times a day. Looked at various Outdoor stores but they were pretty expensive and not exactly what I wanted. I thought I'd check Go Outdoors and I'm so glad I did. It was Berghaus (Check!). Gortex (Check!) Good colour (Check!) and Discounted (Check!) The Member of Staff who served me was Outstanding.
I cannot express how satisfied I am with my purchase and the excellent Customer Service I received. I will be returning to Go Outdoors

I bought this jacket on the back of advice from a member of staff and after trying it on.
It feels absolute quality and looks great on.
Although I haavent been out in the rain yet I have no doubt that it will keep me dry.
I have been out while it's very cold wind and with a nice fleece underneath I was as warm as I needed to be.
Go outdoors also price matched the jacket so I saved a fortune.

Great product. Extremely comfortable, great fit, even when wearing mutliple underlayers. Very waterproof.

great jacket

I purchased this jacket end of October 2017 for the purposes of fell walking only , having now used the jacket on just four occasions I can only say I have found it disappointing.

The arm length of the jacket is a little too long when not worn with another garment and the Velcro cuffs are clumsy.and get in the way catching on just about everything.

Worn once in wet weather the inside of the jacket felt damp also the exterior materiel seemed to wet out all to quickly.

The main zip looks cheap and has the feel of something that could fail all too soon .

On the plus side the Jacket has a good hood and a nice length.

My over view is this , having owned a number of jackets over many years and given this product carries the Berghaus brand I have found this jacket to be most disappointing.

I would return the jacket to the Wigan store but its now past Go Out Doors 30 days returns policy

Given my experiences I am sure that this garment will fail sooner than later, most likely in the area of the Velcro cuffs or the main zip and if this proves to be the case I will update this review and then return the Jacket to the store .
