Stripped out the inner soul and found a lump which was causing my foot to be very sore. They’re going in the bin.

Bought November, used for daily dog walks about 5k on mixed terrain, no cracks, no tears, totally waterproof, as good as the day I got them, so don’t understand most of the negative reviews

Lacking support made worse by a very stiff sole leading to excessive foot movement. Damp patches on socks. Slips on wet rocks. Passable lightweight boot for fair weather walks on flat terrain.

Had my pair a week, the least waterproof boots I've ever bought even non waterproof boots are better.

I've also never suffered with cold feet with any boots but these take the prize. Ripoff.

Great looking lightweight boot, but thats it, definitely not waterproof, mesh splits from rubber front, even on low grass my feet are soaking, soles wear to quick, lucky to get 6 months wear

In 4 months and 700 miles these were ready for the bin. Although they were very comfortable and had no issues with them the soles just went flat and walking in stones felt like bare feet.

I have always invested in berghaus boots due to their waterproof capabilities and comfort. They look great and are comfortable but they are not waterproof as claimed. Feet left soaking. Very disappointed

Great comfort, not waterproof, damp feet from wet grass. Daily use for countryside dog walks, sadly now falling apart, have recorded over 650 miles in them. May buy again, but only for dry days.

I have had these boots for less than a year and they're ready for the bin.
On both boots, the mesh has begun to tear away from the rubber toe, and they are now about as waterproof as a wet Kleenex.

Nice light boots for the summer. Despite the description, these are not waterproof and you will get wet feet from puddles & wet grass. nice and comfy, but I wouldnt buy again as not waterproof.

leak when you walk on grass, light rain water gets in, not fit for purpose.

At ball of foot each side mesh came away from rubber & lower rubber parted from leather stitching so zero resistanceto water even wet grass. Loads of sole left. Comfy boots. Both boots same issue.

Very comfortable - and performing just as I would wish - come back in a year's time for another update. I am expecting to give the same review.

Had them for less than 2 years, and the area where the mesh connects to the rubbery side started to rip. Within a month it completely ripped apart losing water resistance and shape. Disappointing.

These are the most comfortable walking boots I have ever worn. They are very lightweight and well waterproofed, at least for normal footpath conditions. (I didn't try any boggy walks). My last pair survived nearly 2000 miles on paths, tracks and grassland and probably would have gone longer, except that I always land very heavily on my heels, causing point wear. I am now on my second pair, with a third in reserve (in case they stop being made). Definitely not the cheapest, but well worth the extra.

Exactly as expected, comfortable and lightweight, so far I have only walked about 20 miles in them, in dry weather. therefore unable to comment on waterproof quality etc.
I would have preferred 2 metal hooks each side at the top of the lacing, as I like to lace to the top and the down again to tie the laces into the 'crook' of my ankle as this helps keep my heel in place and prevents the foot sliding forward on descents. Apart from this, these boots will hopefully perform well over the summer months.
