A compact & light sleeping bag designed for year round explorers - recommended by the DofE and featuring on the DofE Expedition Kit List.
Vango Ultralite Pro sleeping bags are designed for year round explorers who demand low weight and small pack size.
Their very effective design uses wicking 4T synthetic insulation in a 'trilateral' construction, with Vango's Thermal Reverb system and Thermal Embrace system to enhance your warmth and comfort. 'Thermal-Reverb' is a reflective aluminised lining which reflects your radiated body heat back towards you, while preventing insulation layers from rubbing together for increased longevity. The 'Thermal Embrace' system uses elasticated thread in the lining to make the bag 'hug' your body.
The tightly woven construction of the 20D, 33g/m², nylon Polair Active outer fabric creates a warm, soft to touch and easily compressible material which is also water and tear resistant.
Lightweight, compact, comfortable and easily packable, Vango Ultralite Pro Sleeping Bags are recommended by the DofE and The Scout Association.
Tri-Lateral construction: reduces cold spots and increases core temperature
4T synthetic insulation - improves warmth to weight ratio by trapping air in its patented channel structure
Insulated, adjustable shoulder baffle retains heat within the sleeping bag
Structured hood design keeps the head and shoulders warmer, while dual cord thicknesses allow for easy adjustment in the dark
'Arrow Foot' shaped foot area lets your feet relax into their natural position
3D insulated zip baffle minimises heat loss through the zip
Full Length Two-Way Auto-Lock Zip with Zip Guard and Anti-catch piping
Internal pocket for small items
'Omega' shaping: ergonomically shaped to fit around head and shoulders, positions zips and seams in the lower section of the bag
4-strap compression stuffsack for easy transportation
Listed as a comfort rating -1oC. With a limit of -6. I've been using this in conjunction with £50 thermerest liner and merino long John's at temperatures of around -1.
Still, my upper body is cold resulting in no sleep. How they possibly mark this as -24oF extreme is beyond me.
I even checked to make sure they hadn't sold me the wrong product
This is the 2nd product failure from Go Outdoors on this trip, I won't be using this store any more.

Cosy bag, great price, snug fit, no giraffes!
Bought after getting sick of freezing in early spring/late autumn. Tested tarp camping at c.500m. Foam mat, lightweight clothing, sleeping bag inside my cheap waterproof bivvy bag. Cold damp night but didn't feel it through this bag like I would have with my old one.
Didn't have the difficulties with the autolock zip snagging that some Vango's apparently have, just treat it gently and with respect and you're fine.
I will caution that this bag is cosy in the other sense; I'm 6'3" and 85kg, the absolute upper height limit of this bag, it's difficult for a tall person to really hunker down in. Also the fit seems restrictive a first but you soon get used to it and it supports the body and feet quite nicely.
Tighter fit is the tradeoff for light weight and small carryable pack size. So the extra height and room was a compromise I considered worth it. It's a 4.5 star bag rather than a 5, but at this price I can't complain. Perfect bag for wild camping/backpacking on a budget, or the more nesh valley camper (just so long as you're not a giraffe like me!!)

Bought for D of E - March very cold weather - daughter was very cold down one side, had reflective mat and blow up mattress. Compact, looks great, had deliberated over which bag to purchase; now wonder if down would have been warmer than synthetic? Disappointed in the product as felt rating 4 should have kept her warm. Ordering and delivery were excellent though.

Ultralight Pro 300 Vango sleeping bag
Bought for my daughter who recently had a few scout camps in below zero conditions. She used it on a snowy March weekend and said she was nice & warm. Nice & light as well as packing down pretty small. Just a small issue with Velcro pad which needed restitching as it was hanging off after trying out bag at home, but otherwise seems excellent. Happy with purchase and excellent advice & service from knowledgeable Go Outdoors staff. Thank you

Incredible performance for the money
I took this bag out on a VERY windy cold night in mid November on top of a peak. It took a little time to warm up but once it did i was very cozy and didn't care about the weather, i got a good nights sleep. For this price range you can't do any better, sure you can shave off a couple extra hundred grams with other bags, but for a lot more money. I have no problems thoroughly recommending this product.

I haven't bought a sleeping bag in years, when my old one fell apart, found the new one fantastic. Have used it twice and has done the job and more!

Bought this bag in February this year to replace my old one. I was due to walk the Great Glen Way in March. The temperature on a couple of nights hit -5 and I was still very comfortable and warm. The bag seems very well made with a strong zip and quality fillings. There is an internal pocket for your phone etc. which is a great idea. I am 6' with a 48" chest and found the bag snug but not uncomfortable. I discarded the Vango compression sack and used my own dry sack. The stated weight is inaccurate as when I weighed mine with my digital scales it was 1.15kg in my own dry sack. It compresses down to a compact and manageable size. Very pleased with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Quality bit of kit
For a 3 season sleeping bag this is perfect, not too hefty either, small to medium size when compressed in its stuff sack. I am a large 6ft man with a 42" chest and fitted really well in the bag however that is a snug fit, but I don't like having loads of room around me to have to heat up! I can't comment on the longevity of the build quality because I've only slept in it twice so far but all materials feel of excellent quality, including zips. Kept me really nice warm in the peaks last night at around 2°c air temperature so definitely fits the bill for the seasons I want to use it. Highly recommend so far...
