Immediately after my backpack arrived I jumped on a plane to Granada and went hiking in the Alpujarras mountains for a week. The pack turned out to be just right - big enough to hold all the layers needed for mountain hiking, plus a picnic and drink, and with lots of small pockets and straps for the bits and pieces. It sat comfortably and allowed the air to circulate, and the in-built waterproof cover is a great bonus. Very happy with it.
