Quest fridge

We bought this fridge to replace our electric cool box. Connected to mains on our 1st trip and it didn't work

First use and failed

Copper gas pipe is crushed behind back panel. Nothing going to ignition. Clearly not tested at manufacturers. Faulty from the start. It bought 2yrs ago, tested 12v and mains their ok

Emergency purchase

Bought 2017 when my electric cold box got unplugged at christmas at a friends.
Being able to plug in at home on mains, chill it down in advance, load it up and then take it to the car for travelling while connected to the car's power, then carry it in and put it back on the mains has made taking food to meet ups much easier. Very happy with it.

Good fridge - impressed so far

I tuned it on 230V for a day as instructed, filled it up with cold items from the fridge as we packed to go and added 4 ice blocks. In the car for 5 hours I then found the 12V socket was faulty. But was surprised that it actually kept everything cold diary and booze -for 5 days in August without adding ice or plugging in again!

Blinkin' Brilliant

Bought this in Exeter as a last minute panic as was camping in a tent at a festival for 4 days. Used to having a camper with all it's luxuries.

Already had a 7Kg gas bottle, near empty. The fridge ran on gas perfectly, and seemingly used very little as it still makes a sloshing noise when shaken.

Took an afternoon to get down to temp with a full load of non-chilled beers and food. Performed flawlessly. Loads of space

Kept it in the front porch section of the tent - plenty of ventilation.

Excellent fridge

I ordered this fridge on a Sunday tea time, I did pay for next day delivery which was Tuesday, brilliant, however I was thrilled to receive a txt later that evening to say delivery would be on Monday which it was, fantastic. We plugged it into the mains and it soon cooled down. We purchased gas and fitments the next day and it works just as brilliantly! We took it camping, on gas this weekend and it kept both the food and drinks perfectly, we would highly recommend this product and super service and delivery too, thank you Go Outdoors!

Quest Atlantic 3 Way Chest Fridge

30 degrees outside. Ran this on gas for a week in the New Forest.... Beer, G&T Ice cold..oh and food cold too. A little bulky (just like the fridge at home). Very easy to use 3pin plug for getting it cold at home, then 12v from the car on the way. Gas used at Campsite... Faultless... If you have a doubt trust me i was very sceptical before..... I'd recommend this to anyone. This will not disappoint

Very impressed!

Switched on using mains power overnight. Loaded up and put in the car. Plugged into the 12 voilt supply during the journey and then hooked up to the propane bottle on arrival at site.
Drinks chilled to perfection, which with the heat wave was a huge relief.
This thing works. It is versatile and easy to use.
I would recommend to anyone who likes cold drinks with ice while away from the grid. Would not go away without it now I have enjoyed watching the sun set with the ice clinking in my whiskey.
Very good fridge, very good price and indispensable for the civilised camper.

Love This Camping Fridge

Bought this for my last camping trip, it was amazing. It was easy to set up and use; no issues whatsoever. The fridge had a great capacity, we were able to store enough food for four days and still had room left. I would uighhi recommend it.

Great Fridge

Kept everything nice and cold all weekend and didn't use much gas. Took spirit level with me to make sure completely flat (read reviews about gas not working if slight tilt). Ice tray is amazingly small and a great joke it people want ice!! Even kept my beer cold when i got home and forgot to unpack it for a day. Not too heavy to heave around either. Pricey but great buy - did not regret it.

Quest Atlantic fridge

This is an excellent fridge and amazed us how quickly it cooled food items in the box. The freezer bar also quickly froze the ice tray and we had to put it on it's lowest setting as it adequately kept everything very cold.

Does what says on the Box!

Bought this a month ago and not dissapointed. Works a treat on all 3 sources of power and being a good size it's easy to store food in a way to avoid any spills or tip overs etc. Definitively would recommend this for any camper for short or long stays and best of all it avoids the need for electric hook up....unless someone needs a hairdryer of course!

Brilliant piece of kit

Bought this for camping and to tide us over while the warranty people on our household fridge organise a replacement.
Stays really nice and cold, surprising how much we can fit into it. Really happy.

Ask about the gas connectors

Just purchased this last week, have tested it at home and it works well off 240V, even made ice within about 90 mins of turning on. We were sold a gas bottle to go with it as we do not always have electric hook up. However there are also connectors, hoses and regulator not supplied that have to be purchased. This was not pointed out at the point of purchase which is disappointing. I am still trying to source these parts so have not been able to use this as intended yet.

Very impressed

Hi, I bought this cool box a month ago and it's proved its worth already.
We have taken it down through France +30c and it's worked really well, even got ice.
Used the 12v in the van whilst travelling, 240v on hook up and gas when no electricity. "Gas can't be used inside".
We went to bus fest this weekend and the fridge spent it's time on gas, no complaints on the way it worked, it was really good ??
Things that would improve it would be some sort of segregation in the box to stop the Avalanche when something is removed and a loop or fixture for locking it to the van etc for security, these things are easily remidied done at home.

I have had a cool box for years in my VW bay, but with our yearly trip to glasto I invested in this model. Very happy as it kept our food and drinks cold and fresh for the week. I ran it on hook for two days on a campsite in Glastonbury and then onto gas for the next 5 days in the festival. It did freeze one 2.5 litre of scrumpy as this was next to the cooling element.

Quest Atlantic Fridge

Wanted to get the Quest 45 (slightly smaller) but all Go Outdoors near me sold out so opted for this bigger newer version and not disappointed. The Quest 45 also has lots of dodgy reviews)
This was a fabulous addition to a bank holiday weekend away and kept everything really well chilled and ice cubes frozen.
Haven’t checked to see how much gas this used over 3 days but I did have a 907 bottle and set the dials on the fridge to maximum. Very easy to set up and purge the air etc, had it on mains at home for three days, 12v in the car for 3 hours and then onto Gaz at the site. Travelled with ¾ loaded with food and wine and nothing spoiled or melted, this has just changed my camping routine. Even gave out iced lolly’s to the kids on site.
