Extremely waterproof.

A replacement for my Ortlieb case. Silva has one big bennefit, its slightly larger so easier to fit a folded map, The seal is tight but it is very watertight. I would write more but only 38 characters

Good but not perfect.

Overall it does the job, I have seen cheaper alternatives that have been designed better. I also found it annoying to stow away, a simple patch of Velcro so I could fold it in half would have made the difference...... but it did the job.

Good, but in windy conditions you need a different cord

Very waterproof and durable but -
1) seal is very hard to press together, so much so that you can't just use your fingers. It needs one of those slider things that compress the type of seal it has.
2) The clips on the cord are rubbish in the wind. If there is any risk of it flapping around (perhaps you have it tied to you bag, and in a pocket for easy access). Once mine came out of my pocket and flapped about and the open ended clips meant that one end came lose - so it was no longer fully attached to my bag. I noticed before I lost it.
But this happened again towards the end of another walk - this time I didn't notice. So somewhere up the hills it took off. Thankfully, it was at the end of the day and I didn't need it anymore. For the price, very poor value.
