Though an adequate harness for many types of climbing the Bod is ideal for activities with less 'hang time' and more 'leg work' like mountaineering or ski touring. Soft pliable construction gives great ease of movement and the quick release leg loops make this one of the quickest harnesses to get on and off.

I've been using this harness model since 1994, bought it again and again (H&SE needs substitution every 5 years) and it has never let me down. Rappelling from helicopters, buildings, scrambling through mud, snow, ice. The fleece padding dries up quickly when wet, the leg loops and belt provide plenty of comfort. The gear loops are large and solid. And you can take it off bypassing the muddy boots due to it's alpine design. When it's dirty just put it into the washing machine cold with tech wash and you're done.
My view is that "fancier" materials still have to prove themselves, whilst this harness has proven itself over and over again. This is a 100% outdoor workhorse and I love it.
