Wild Country Rockcentrics are a key feature in any climbing rack due to their unique shape and protection properties.
The curved sides allow the Rockcentric to be seated effectively and much better than that of the flat sided nut and are very lightweight compared to the original ‘Hex’ designs.
The Rockcentric can provide 4 different types of placement, two of these being ‘camming style’ placements which you can’t get with a flat rock. This makes it a great starter for those who can’t afford, or don’t feel confident about using cams.
They are attached with a 12mm Dyneema sling, one of the strongest around with a 12kN rating. These are highly flexible, with no lengthening or extra karabiners needed to place the protection.
Overall the Wild Country Rockcentrics are easy to select, place and can be seen in any climbers rack from a beginner to those who can push the harder grades.
If you’re out at the crag and can hear a ‘cow bells’ noise, that’s the Rockcentrics clanging against other.
