The Coleman F1 Lite Lantern has been designed for fast-paced trekking where every gram counts - the lightest lantern on the market.
The unbreakable, detachable mesh globe gives you easy access to the mantle.
The wire knob makes handling when hot easy (with gloves) and the lantern can be hung up to illuminate a wide area.
The textile carry pouch incorporates a lightweight protection cylinder for added convenience.

Best camping lamp there is.
Uses same gas canisters as my trangia stove.. handy so I don't have to cope with 2 sets of gas supply.
Lit using a match near a small hole in the mesh.
Mesh is strong and won't break like a glass diffuser lamp.
Carry case has a stiff protective tube.
Lightweight. Pack it away separate from gas, as Coleman gas cannisters have a self- sealing valve.
Packs out the light.
Useful chain attached to keyring loop allows it to hang from things... Like trees or awnings...

The only down side is the fragility of the mantles, otherwise it would be 5 stars. So to be certain of having light at night take a few spare mantles if you out in the wilds.
