A larger version of the popular Taurus design, a good choice for group use or longer trips where more space is preferred.
The Vaude Taurus 3P offers a low weight for good internal space and a secure, reliable tent suitable for 3 season backpacking or touring.The 'tripod' shape is tapered at the foot end and rises to give extra width and height in the door and porch area. This low profile shape deflects wind well and once secured with the guylines offers a stable and weatherproof shelter. Pitching flysheet-first makes it easier to get the tent up and ready even in wet conditions.
The long ridge pole extends over the porch to give better height and storage space, and allow you to unzip the top of the flysheet door for ventilation without any drips landing on the inner tent.
Versatile enough for a weekend backpacking or month's cycle touring, the Taurus 3P offers the extra room not often found in tents of this design, and at an affordable price too.
