2 years on and with light use these gloves leak like the proverbial. The elasticated fit inhibits circulation,I have size XL and my hands are not overly large! Wind chill transmission means that my hands are always cold as soon as the temperature plummets to less than 8 deg. These are great gloves to wear on a dry day in mid summer otherwise avoid like the plague!

I can't express how bad these gloves are!!!!!!! They make my hands colder rather than warmer and although they are waterproof they are not worth the money

VFM is a little debatable
I received a pair of these SealSkinz gloves for Xmas 2012. They are comfortable to wear and, being designed to be a tight fit, allow you better grip than normal loose fit gloves. But a year later, despite only really wearing them for walking the dog, the finger ends are worn so that you can see the lighter lining beneath the knitted outer. I would not imagine them lasting well if used for much handling. So my verdict is: good but maybe not worth the premium price.

Amazing well worth the money!
I have had the older version of these gloves (slightly more grips on them if the only difference I am aware of) for several years and put them "somewhere safe" found them recently and even after storage for a couple of years they are still totally waterproof and kept may hands warm and dry even standing out in the pouring rain for several hours - one thing people my find is that is water gets in around the cuff then they will get wet inside - obviously - I only discovered this when my waterproof jacket proved to be not so water proof and I had water running down my arms so ended up with wet wrists but rest of hand bone dry!

I bought these for my son who is on an adventure sports course and although they do have good grip and flexibility they are not waterproof at all! Would not recommend for waterproof qualities and I am sure there are much cheaper alternatives if it is a glove with grip you are looking for :( disappointed.

I thought these would be a good choice. Dextrous, warm and waterproof. Dextrous yes, warm and waterproof-No. My son anad I both have a pair and having tried them on a variety of expeditions they have performed badly in wet and cold weather. Does not do what it says on the tin!
