Engineered utilizing Berghaus' years of experience and designed specifically with extreme environments in mind, the Gyalgen is a practical, technical mountineering jacket.

The Gyalgen utilizes the performance of two 3 Layer GORE-TEX Pro Shell fabrics to deliver the best in breathability and waterproof protection. The main body is a ripstop nylon fabric for added tear strength, whilst a smooth faced plain weave nylon provides great abrasion resistance and water shedding.

Core body venting allows the wearer to effectively regulate their body temperature according to their exertion rate and full helmet compatibility is available from the hood which fits correctly around the head and face to maximize protection from the elements.

With safety paramount, Berghaus have developed the DNA reflective print which appears on the hood and sleeves to alert others to your presence when visibility is poor.

Designed specifically for climbing and mountaineering, the Gyalgen  has articulated sleeves to allow unrestricted freedom of movement enabling it to work with the body to take full advantage of the demanding but rewarding experiences on offer.
