A 'stitch plate' style device with HMS carabiner, a quality beginner set up.
Designed for all types of climbing the VC Pro 2, coupled with the Synergy screw gate, provides everything you need to get started belaying. Optional breaking assistance is provided by V groove technology. For extra holding power simply run the dead rope through the V slots, for smoother paying out, lowering or abseiling flip the device around and bypass the system.

I bought these as a pair as they looked good value compared to other belay devices, excellent quality and do the job as good as those other more expensive ones. Great control from the belay which can be smooth or on the groove setting to alter the friction. The gate lockes well and gives you the feeling of being solid and secure. Excellent value piece of kit!
