Bought this for backpacking in the Lakes. Superb breakfast - real chunks of bacon just like the army rations. Downside is the pack weight so wouldn't want ot carry too many on a trip but this will always be in my rucksack.

Wayfarer beans and bacon breakfast are in a foil packet that you just heat up in water for 7-8 minutes (take the foil pack out of the outer plastic bag first!!). I drop the pack into my Trangia kettle, then use the water for a brew. Pull open the top of the pack and you are ready to eat (although the pack can be a bit warm to hold in bare hands). The beans are tasty and the lumps of real bacon (more like small lumps of ham) add a smoky twist. I crumble a couple of oatcakes in as a substitute for toast! A great, warming breakfast that should fill you up and set you up for the day.
