Having had a sucession of pegs for our awning including the screw in type we were faced with a real challenge on our last trip to Derbyshire.
we have now resolved the problem on even the toughest of hardstandings.
no more bent pegs here

We stayed at a site recently that advised on bringing some rock pegs! So I thought we had better get some!
It was a revelation! No more bent and buckled pegs!
These pegs were so much easier to get in and out of the ground and were very solid.
Make sure you get a mallet to get them in - not good to use your feet when the ground is rocky!

bought to make sure i had pegs that will go into any ground. went camping in the middle of summer and they worked fine. used a rubber mallet with them and they went straight in to the hard ground. ideal.
