A lightweight, two pole tunnel tent with a quick and easy pitch - Exclusive to GO Outdoors
Combining high quality waterproof and breathable fabrics with strong lightweight poles, the Vango Nova 300
is a superb tent for weekends, backpacking and DofE expeditions.
It includes Vango's patented TBS II® Tension Band System* which works to
ensure it will always stand firm and stable, and high performance
Line-Lok guyline runners that lock securely and are simple to release.
*Patented Vango TBS®II Tension Band System ensures that tent performs in
adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds. When
tensioned, the bands brace the pole at 3 points, and prevent sideways
movement. Adjust TBS®II to remove slack. Do not over tension, as this
may deform the poles. Can be stowed away in calm weather.

brilliant tent!, 21 August 2016
By Clint (Blackpool)
I bought the nova 300 as I was looking for something relatively lightweight but with enough space to accommodate my girlfriend and I plus all our gear on 1-2 night wild camping/hiking trips. It takes a couple of practice attempts to get the fly completely tight in the middle (lift and move the poles back before pegging) but otherwise I've had no other issues. It has coped admirably with several wet and windy summit camps at over 750m in the lake district plus a couple of more gentle campsite stops. This tent easily fits the two of us plus two 60l rucksacks (a dog would be ok too) with the porch being great for storing wet stuff, boots and cooking gear. Maybe a little heavy for solo trips (I have a zenith 100 for that) but we split it with me carrying the fly/inner all ready attached together and and her the pegs, poles and porch groundsheet. Over all this tent is pretty bombproof, quick to pitch, very light for its Size and perfect if you're looking for something to hike with a partner and have plenty of space.
Very nice tent, 17 July 2016

I slept in this tent for four nights in English-summer weather. It's a good quality tent, I'm really happy with my purchase. The front space is quite handy for boots and whatnot. In size it's perfect for two people, three would be possible as well.
Has really light but sturdy pegs. The rain did make them develop some sort of dark coating on the surface, not sure if it's rust or something else.
The attachment of the inner tent to the outer frame could really be done better though. There are these plastic hooks that are really really hard to undo. It took me like 15 minutes to undo the six of them and they are real nail breakers.
A Great Tent, 12 July 2016

I bought this tent recently and it had it's first outing in Glencoe at the weekend. The weather was normal... wind and rain. Stayed completely dry inside and no condensation either. Plenty of room for two people... might be a squeeze for three. Easy to pitch and strike. Definitely recommended.
A superb tent, well worth the money, 30 June 2016
By Edward (Humberside)
My Father bought this for me for my Bronze DofE expedition at Totley. When packed, the tent is very small; about 45cm long and 17 cm in diameter. The oversized stuff sack makes it much easier to put the tent in and to get out. The stuff sack has the ability to compress the tent using two straps that can be tightened; this makes it ideal for clipping on the outside of a rucksack. So now the tent itself, is a very large tent and can hold three people comfortably with space in the porch for their kit. The tent comes with a free porch ground sheet which is an added bonus which helps you to stay dry whilst cooking just outside the tent or to put your boots on without making the living space mucky. In order to save time I clipped the inner to the outer at home so it only took me and a Team mate 3 minutes to pitch, working in unison. The tent works best when pitched with the door away from the prevailing winds. The triangular back is perfect for allow the wind to travel around the tent without making those inside uncomfortable. The classic vango Orange makes the tent feel warm and the mesh ensures enough air gets in for safety but that the tent doesn't get insanely cold. You have the option of uncovering or covering a large mesh panel on the door as it's like a stable door. The large deep pockets on the inside are ideal for holding maps, compasses, phones etc. that you will need. Overall it is a superb tent and is well worth the money, it's DofE endorsed so that's a bonus. No storm can topple this tent with the TBS tensioned and the tent pulled tort. 10/10!

I purchased this tent last week. I have not been able to use it yet due to having to take it back due to an eyelet missing this is why i have only given 4 stars at the moment, once i have used i will update review.
Tent is very light and is very compact. this is why i have purchased it to use for wild camping.
