Lightweight, easily packable, and very warm and comfortable - a perfect sleeping bag for expeditions, or just a weekend of fun.
Recommended by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Association, and useful for anyone from youth groups on expeditions to weekend campers or festival-goers, Vango Latitude Sleeping Bags are warm and light, with construction designed to perform and keep you comfortable.
They're made using a diamond-ripstop outer shell, covering two layers of offset insulation with a silky polyester lining that's very soft next to your skin.
The breathable lining has an aluminised reflective face that reflects your body heat back into the bag, and coupled with the offset insulation (two layers separated by a liner to avoid lumping, with stitching that doesn't allow for 'cold spots' to form) and Thermal Embrace System (elasticated thread that keeps the lining close but allows you to move freely) you're kept snug, comfortable and warmer for longer.
- 3D hood with multi-cord closure - tailored to fit the shape of the head, it keeps your head and shoulders much warmer (uses two thicknesses of cord so it can be easily adjusted in the dark)
- Insulated adustable shoulder baffle - stops heat escaping from the top of the bag. The adjustable cord lets you tighten or loosen
- Insulated zip baffle helps to retain body heat within the sleeping bag whilst keeping cold air out
- The woven zip puller allows quick and easy operation
- Two-Way auto-lock zip - seals in warmth or ventilates, can be used from inside the bag, stopping the bag from opening when you move around
- Reflective tab on zip cover aids finding and opening the bag at night
- Grab loops for easy zip use
- Conveniently placed internal pocket - for phones, MP3 players and other small essentials
- Hanging loops at the foot of the bag - help you to keep the bag fresh and dry between uses
- Comes with 4-Strap compression stuffsack, so you can pack it down to a tiny size for easy transportation

Perfect for D of E, 06 January 2016
By Anonymous (Leeds)
I recently bought this product as a sleeping bag for the D of E award. It is warm, a good length (I am around 6ft and fit comfortably) and considerably smaller and lighter than some alternatives. The warm layer of insulation around the neck can be pulled in to conserve warmth, and the material is strong and well up to camping. The zip snags occasionally, but this is no real issue, and it packs very easily for a bag with this comfort temperature and price. the only minor thing that I would have liked was the bag to be of better quality: other compression bags have a 'lid' or top which clips on, allowing better waterproofing and more even compression. This can be rectified as they are available separately from outdoor stores.

I bought this as a 3 season bag having previously only had basic summer campsite sleeping bags. I took this up to the highlands in April, camping at 1500 feet, just below the snow line. I wasn't frosty but must have been around 4-5º. So the comfort rating of 3º I reckon is a bit generous. My son however aged 12 is much smaller and he had a warm and sound night. Children may stay warmer as there is more air around them and the bag isn't over stretched, therefore keeping the insulation more effective.
Good for children for spring and autumn camps but invest in something better if you're camping out in the cold. I now have a Rab 900. Very snug but £200 more expensive!

This is a continuation to my last review just had a couple of not freezing but cold nights and contrary to my first impression the bag is very cold, also the zip snagged every time so need to plan your toilet trips. The zip has now broken on the 5th night of use.

Much too small, says it suit someone 6 Ft 2ins I'm 6ft 0.5ins and although it looks long enough once in it only comes to my shoulders. And as for the width I'm slim to medium build and once zipped up you are pinned in, no chance of turning over.
Going back once I get home.
On the good side I'm in the Isle of Man at the moment and it is warm.
