Info
The Vango Beta 350 has a huge
porch area with windows, great for storing gear, bikes or furniture, or as
extra living space if the weather turns sour.
Pitching is easy with the colour-coded Powerflex fibreglass poles and pre-attached guylines (with guy tidies), and the heavy duty pole sleeves ensure even distribution of tension so the tent stays stable, even with wind and knocks.
Reflective webbing and zip-pullers mean the Vango Beta 350 is easy to find in dark or crowded conditions.
The breathable inner and mesh vents make you more comfortable inside, the outer zips have rain gutter covers, while all seams are taped to protect you in the heaviest downpours.
Roomy and practical, a great tent whatever the expedition!
Alternatively, take a look at the Hi Gear Electron 3 Tunnel Tent, with a large bedroom and spacious storage space, it's perfect for weekends away and longer holidays in the sun.

A great choice, 08 April 2011

This was our first tent and definitely a good choice. The brand is trustworthy, which initially helped our choice (as did the price.)
This tent survived a battery of weather throughout 2010 and is still going strong. There were no leaks, minimal condensation and certainly plenty of room for not-so-light packing. We even managed to sit in chairs in the living area, during a particularly wet week. Once we learned the knack of opening the door so it didn't pour water inside, as well as pegging out the guy lines properly, this tent was great, needing few adjustments when pitched for a few nights. The pitching time was also accurate (about 10 mins.) There was also plenty of room in the boot for other stuff as this tent packs away into a small space. A spacious, reliable home from home!

Nice Festival/ car camping tent, 30 November 2010

Very roomy tent with space for 3 unlike most other "3 person tents". The porch is big & the double doors are good for getting some ventilation through it when hot. The porch groundsheet isn't sown in which is handy to roll back when sorting muddy or sandy kit or beach toys.Another plus is the good head room for a smallish tent which makes getting dressed so much easier.
Also like the fact that it can be pitched all in one on wet days so the inner tent stays dry. We've turned this on its head as well on the beach once when we had light drizzle as we just pitched the outer & used it as a beach shelter! (just fill bags with sand instead of pegs!)
My only gripes would be that the inner tent is rather "baggy" & would have been nice if it could be pitched more taunt when needed (aka when occupied by 3 people). The pegs bend rather easily as well & investing in proper ones is well worth it. The poles are also just your average cheaper variety, but I suspect good pitching will help with the overall "strength" of this as with all tents.

Windy No Problem, 14 July 2010

Excellent product - Used twice with very strong winds and stayed rock solid. Well made and very easy to put up, we like the large available space in this design.
ps. the groundsheet is sewn in the bedroom with the front living area fitted in one piece to the inner tent.
