These Gaiters are very good, These are perfect for walking in places such as the Cairngorms and the English Lake District, Waterproof is good but at the moment i cant use mine because i have lost them somewhere :(. Recommended.

Bought these gaiters after a miserable time with the Hi-Gear ones. They seem very well made and hard-wearing. Wore them for the first time in the Brecons a couple of weeks ago. Was a very wet day (isn't it always in the Brecons?) They were a good fit and kept my boots dry. However there was still a lot of moisture on the inside of the gaiters at the end of the hike. This lead to the lower part of the trousers becoming wet/damp. I notice that the Gortex part of this product is quite small and does not cover all the gaiter area. It was these non Gortex areas that were damp/wet. The gortex itself was dry.
If these had more gortex they would be better gaiters. As such they are a little disappointing but still did a reasonable job for the money they cost. Would probably buy again.

I have gone through many different makes of Gaiter and would say that these have definitely been the best. Firstly the gore-tex really is extremely water and wind proof, but the real unique selling point for this product is the leather strap that goes under the boot to secure the gaiter. It is so much easier than other similar products that have laces instead. You can also buy spare leather straps for when they will inevitably wear out. My only criticism is that you can only buy them in black.
