Great for a quick get away, 29 August 2016
By Martin (Manchester)
Have used this while camping by my self a few times. Lightweight, easy pitching and spacey. A few week ago my wife took our kids camping by them selves and used this tent. She loved it as was super easy to pitch and t bring down. Kept them dry at night with heavy rains in Edale. She was impressed. We usually go camping in an Icarus 500, but she wanted something easier to set up so this was it. Going to buy a second one for short weekends, one for the kids and second one for grown ups

Nice tent, 04 August 2016
By Jan R (Southend)
First time I've put up a tent. Strong giggled with the poles until I realised I had placed in wrong pins. Other than that seems to be great tent. Nice and roomy for two. Not tried it out in rain yet.

Ideal for a couple, 13 July 2016
By RobinhoOutdoors (City of Edinburgh)
I bought this tent for when I go away camping with girlfriend and it didn't disappoint. Makes for a spacious 2 person tent with plenty of headroom. It was easy to put up and the built in footprint in the porch was an added bonus.
It rained all night long and we were bone dry, there was a layer of condensation on the inside of the fly sheet but this normal for those conditions and for spending nearly 12 hours in a tent.

Good quality tent, 04 July 2016
By Pammie (Peterborough)
A good quality Vango tent. Easy and quick to put up. Was also kept dry during a night of rain. I would agree that this is more suitable for 2 people as opposed to 3. My only negative would be that it is not possible to put a small padlock on the inner part as there is only one zip to close it up, had to make a hole. I have a larger Vango tent and would definitely recommend this brand.

Vango Theta, 28 June 2016
By V (North East)
Bought the tent a few years ago and it has served me well - a couple of festivals, a couple of wild camps and a camp site or two.

Putting this tent up is easy. Outside first, three colour coded poles and then peg it down. Hang the inner tent. Pitched this at the weekend in torrential rain and within ten minutes was up and inside the dry inner tent.

Be aware of slope so the porch groundsheet drains as kneeling in a puddle in the porch is annoying.

This tent is for 2 people and day sack each. 3 people would be claustrophobic. The tent has vents so opening the vents and the door keeps it cool enough in the hotter British weather(one day a year if we are lucky) and I haven't had it leak in heavy rains in the 4 years I have owned it.

The tent takes longer to take down and pack that it does to put it up.

The bad - well the zips can be a bit of a pain to use. The flap covering the zip to prevent water getting in keeps getting caught. There is a knack to it but even with practice I still get it caught occasional. The material around the inner tent zip has frayed and split away from the zip.

Overall a good reliable small tent.
