Features
Therm-a-Rest's lightest self-inflating mattress, with extra warmth for women.
The Therm-a-Rest Women's ProLite Plus self-inflating mattress is perfect for ladies who want to stay warm on a chilly night outdoors, but need to keep their gear weight as low as possible.
It’s size-specific to save weight and space, and Therm-a-Rest have added insulation in the torso and feet areas, where their research has shown that women need it most.
The Women's ProLite Plus uses Therm-a-Rest's patent-pending foam-perforating technology to provide exceptional warmth without adding weight or bulk - up to 20% more than their previous ProLite 4 mattresses.
It’s substantial enough to keep you comfortable while mountaineering or on ski tours, yet rolls up small and light enough that you’ll have no problem taking it wherever you want to go.
Therm-a-Rest's unique, diagonal-cut high performance foam insulation gives you the most efficient insulation possible, while the tapered design eliminates excess weight and helps the mat to roll up ultra-compact.
Bottom grips and the textured top surface keep the mattress where you want it while you sleep - no sliding!

Therm-a-Rest Fast & Light® mattresses give you unrivalled comfort without weight or bulk. They weigh less and pack smaller than any mattresses ever before, making them ideal for alpinists, adventure racers, and long-distance backpackers alike.
Therm-a-Rest ProLite Plus sleeping mats are compact enough to fit in even the smallest packs, and can double up as cushioning for your travel pack: they can be partially inflated, folded and used as a comfortable frame along your back. All the Therm-a-Rest self-inflating Fast & Light® mattresses can also be folded in half and then rolled, allowing them to fit more easily inside a pack.
*The 'R-Value' is a measurement of a material's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-Value, the more effective the insulation provided.

Super-comfortable sleeping mat..., 02 September 2011

Bought this to replace a cheaper alternative that lasted only a couple of years before developing numerous leaks - this is far better construction quality, super-easy to inflate and really comfortable and warm. Rolls up really small and weighs hardly anything (much less than its cheaper predecessor!)
Fantastic Product - Like sleeping in a bed, but more comfortable, 18 August 2011

Got this a couple of months ago and I am still really pleased with my purchase.
I went for the womens because it is more comfortable and warmer than the mens, and the colour is neutral enough.
Used it indoors and out and am yet to find a fault with it. weighing about 50% more than a normal carry mat, it is easily worth that tiny bit more weight. And if you are thinking it is one of those products that will be impossible to get back in their bags, think again, it rolls down just as easily as it self inflates.

Brilliant design! Pricey, but worth it..., 22 February 2010

I bought this 2 months ago and have used it for an expedition to the Arctic Circle and it was perfect! It was inceredibly comfortble, warm although rolling it up takes a little bit of practice (easily done at home), when it is its smallest it is so lightweight and went in my rucksack easily.
It is more expensive than other thermarest mats but the technology is fantastic and this mat is the only one to have grip on the bottom which reallt helped to stop me sliding around, unlike the other person in my tent!
I've also used it when staying overnight at friends' houses which is a nice change to sleeping on the floor.
If you're going to save up or splash out for anything, make it this, sleep is so important it isn't worth comprimising....
