Features

With Therm-a-Rest, there's no need to sacrifice your luxury for a lighter load.

The Therm-a-Rest® NeoAir mattress uses state-of-the-art design and engineering, to give a comfortable night's sleep to any camper or backpacker needing to keep their gear weight low.

The NeoAir is one of the lightest air mattresses available, considerably warmer and far more stable than other uninsulated air mattresses, and will pack down to around the same size as your standard water bottle.

Ultralight & Compact: Weighs just 14oz, and packs down to the size of a water bottle.

Warm and insulating: Therm-a-Rest's unique reflective barrier returns warmth to your body and reduces heat loss to the ground, keeping you three times warmer than other uninsulated sleeping mats.

Solid and stable: When inflated, the NeoAir's Triangular Core Matrix technology creates an internal truss system that gives you a stable, firm but comfortable cushion.

Robust and durable: The NeoAir mattress can be inflated and adjusted directly without you needing the added weight or bulk of a pump, or worrying about exhaled moisture wetting insulation and decreasing performance.

Who says you have to be uncomfortable when you're outdoors?

NeoAir sleeping mats are compact enough to fit in even the smallest packs, and can double up as cushioning for your travel pack: it can be partially inflated, folded and used as a comfortable frame along your back. All the Therm-a-Rest self-inflating Fast & Light® mattresses can also be folded in half and then rolled, allowing them to fit more easily inside a pack.

The best way to inflate your NeoAir™ mattress is to unroll it, and open the valve, blow air into the first section of the mattress, then close the valve. Push the air from the inflated section into the bottom, non-inflated section of the mattress with the valve still closed. Open the valve and continue inflation. A regular length mattress takes an average of 20 strong breaths to inflate fully. Once inflated, you can adjust the firmness while you're lying on the mat, using the valve near your head, just by reaching up and opening it slightly until you get to your ideal level of support.

*The 'R-Value' is a measurement of a material's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-Value, the more effective the insulation provided.

Very comfortable, warm, lightweight, 26 May 2011
By sbw (Lennoxtown)
This mat is very warm and comfortable and extremly small and light to carry. Not as easy as my regular self inflating thermorest to pack and unpack but worth it when travelling light. Not slip surface keeps my sleeping bag (and me) on the mat. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable lightweight mat

Neoair Regular, 26 January 2010
By Daz (Nottinghamshire)
I used this mat on a winter bivi in the Ogwen Valley, very low temperatures on semi frozen ground. Stayed comfortable all night. I have a prolite medium mat & Exped downmat & this out performs them both. Excellent bit of kit.
