A very compact, very packable, extremely warm and comfortable sleeping mat for campers who travel light.

Packing in more warmth and comfort per ounce than any other three-season air mattress available, the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite is super-lightweight and packs down to a size that's smaller than your one litre water bottle.

Made using their patented Triangular Core Matrix construction - with updated softer-feel fabric -  it's comfortable, warm, supportive and stable. Ideal for backpackers, it's also great for festivals, family camping, or any circumstance where you value your comfort but don't want to carry a huge amount of kit.

  • Ultralight: Advanced fabrics and a tapered design make this the lightest 3-season backpacking air mattresses available
  • Warm: ThermaCapture™ technology traps radiant heat while Triangular Core Matrix™ construction minimizes convective heat loss
  • Comfortable: 2.5” (6 cm)-thickness and baffled internal structure provide unrivalled stability and support

Cure the slip, 27 April 2017
By Katesdad (Bedford, UK)
Agree with most of the comments about it. About it being slippery (it is !!). Thermarest do a fitted sheet for a few quid that both solves the problem of slipping off, and provides a more comfortable surface to lie on. I got one, and it's brilliant.

Amazing size, warm and comfortable, 20 January 2017
By Beergander (Bristol)
Purchased one of these after reading the rave recommendations. Firstly I could not believe the size it packs down to (And it's easy to repeat this process). It's quick to inflate, very warm and think enough to offer a comfy nights sleep. Ok it is expensive but somethings in life are worth splashing out on!

I'm going back to my karrimat, 18 December 2016
By ian (Hampshire)
I bought this after hearing great personally recommendations from fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

I later found out that both recommendations missed out a vital piece of information, both of which had smeared there thermorest with silicone to act as a grippy agent.

This is a wonderful lightweight mattress it packs down really small, it doesn't self-inflate so you have to blow it up no real hardship.

It is really thick at approximately 2 1/2" or 63.5mm comfortable to lye on and you don't touch the ground.

It is so lightweight I was frightened it would burst but it didn't and I was very impressed with.

So why have I given it such a low score, well I don't know what the designers were thinking when they designed this mattress however they might as well have coated it in Teflon.

Getting to sleep on this mattress is fine but you will have a very interrupted nights sleep I was waking up at least every hour not on the thermorest but somewhere else it the tent, so every hour I had to correct the mattress and doz off again.

Yes I know what you are thinking he's a wriggler, well I would agree however I don't suffer this problem with my Karrimat.

I was climbing a plus 5000m hill at the time and I did expect the designers would have allowed for you to sleep at a inclination on a mattress designed for lightweight hiking but obviously not, even on the last night of my week long trip on a flat campsite i still woke every hour in a different part of the tent.

Either I slide off the top of the thing or it crept out from under me!

So when I get back from this I will be asking for a refund from thermorest and returning to my age old Karrimat which is not as comfortable but at least I can wake up on it.

Very pleased with this sleeping mat, 04 September 2016
By Bryan A (Edinburgh)
I've been meaning to buy a lightweight sleeping mat for some time having previously used an normal airbed.
I'm really pleased with this one which I've just bought and used at a music festival although its main use will be for backpacking.
It is really comfortable and so warm it felt like I was sleeping on an electric blanket compared to my old airbed. Of course it is ridiculously light and compact. Also easy to inflate yourself by blowing into the valve. Highly recommended if you are looking for comfort, lightness and warmth.

Ronseal - works great, 06 June 2016
By Mungo Shuntbox (Rossendale)
Light, packs down to nothing, and was warm enough for mountain use on top of snow in Cumbria in February.

The construction is lightweight so my main concern is to make sure I pack the mat up sensibly in its carry bag and don't let it get ripped or torn.

Having said that - many reviews of this item vouch for its durability in any case so I'm pretty damn impressed with it, having battled with larger and heavier mats in the past.
