Stylish waterproof multi-activity shoes suited for anything from day-to-day use to trail walking or light rambling.

Part of the multisport range, the The North Face Women's Hedgehog GTX are lightweight trail shoes, ideal for general active wear.

With a built-in waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® XCR lining, the Hedgehog GTX are extremely capable in wet weather.

The Hedgehog boasts a Northotic ergonomic footbed with AgION antimicrobial treatment to help maximize support and comfort while keeping you fresh and dry.

A compression molded, lightweight EVA midsole works with the X-2 O2 cushioning system to provide optimum comfort and protection, and reduce strain on high impact areas.

An integrated TPU shank and heel X-2 O2 air pod ensures futher stability and support even on the roughest of terrains.

The rubber outsole is an exclusive from Vibram. Lightweight and durable, it's designed to cope with fast moving outdoor endeavours.

To sum all that up in layman's terms, they will support you well on light or heavy treks, keeping you dry and comfortable.

Excellent shoes, just buy a half size up, 23 January 2012

I've had my pair for over 2 years now and are worn daily and only now needing replaced. Excellent sturdy shoes. Really comfy and didnt take long to wear in. Only critisim is that I found that they are quite narrow so you do need a half size up from what you'd normally wear.

bought these in july - great value for a goretex shoe. Very comfy and sturdy - ideal for trekking. Only complaint, and reason I gave 4 not 5 stars, is the heel cups gripped my heels so well that they were bruised and sore after first 2-3 outings. Am sure they will wear in ok though. Overall would def recomend.

Tough little shoe!, 01 July 2011

I've had these shoes for about 3 years and I wear them nearly everyday. They were a bit stiff to start with but soften up over time and are extremely comfortable and hard wearing. Excellent grip, too. I'm off to buy another pair as the heels have worn down a bit but that's pretty good going for 3 years wear and tear – the fact that you can still buy them is proof enough that they are good quality and well worth the money.
