Nice and toasty, 29 November 2011
By Marty J (Worcestershire)
I bought this coat in late 2010 for a flying trip to Norway. -25 at times I was being told. You need a North Face McMurdo, I was told by one of the other pilots. A trip with it being -35 at times I certainly appreciated this coat which kept me very comfortable even at such low temperatures. Used it in the UK a few times whilst standing around, but not a great walking coat as you are boiling in just a few mins. Would I recommend? absolutely, expensive but at -35 it is a life saver and essential

Warm hard wearing coat with versatile pockets., 03 June 2011

I bought one of these coats to go on a city break to Prague last Christmas and im so glad I did. It was -13 and snowing and I didn't feel the cold once.
There is also loads of pockets inside and out which is ideal for the city when you need to keep your valuables safe.
The only draw back I found was the thickness of the outside material which makes it very bulky and not as easy to pack down small as previous down coats I have owned.
The North Face McMurdo Parka, 26 December 2010
By Russell (Allerton Bywater)
I purchased this item in November this year and was highly delighted with it.
Its is extremely warm and hard wearing and it has been perfect during the recent cold snap.
I would highly recommend this item and would not be without it.
Cheers
Russell
