Similar in design, but lighter than their All-Terrain, The North Face Downpour Jacket is a very lightweight, very breathable outer shell, suitable to use in the wettest weather.
The outer shell is constructed from 2-layer GoreTex Performance Shell, so it's rugged enough to take scrapes and knocks, and extremely breathable, completely windproof and waterproof.
Use it as a top layer over base layers and fleece if the weather is cold.
There is a mesh and taffeta lining to help breathability and inner ventilation, and more ventilation can be achieved through the pockets if needed.
Hidden under the storm flap on the main zip is an OS map sized pocket, for easy protected access to your map when it's raining.
A practical jacket that's good for many uses, even in the worst conditions.

Versatile yet comfortable jacket. Great waterproofing and very breathable even for the sweatiest person!
Very useful map pocket with its zip under the Velcro fastening but outside of the main jacket zip, so you don't have to unzip your jacket to take out the map.
Highly recommended
