Great snug, waterproof jacket, 30 March 2011
By Big Craig (Bristol)
Read the previous review and am at a loss to account for their experience. I live on a narrow-boat and need a waterproof jacket that is going to keep me warm and dry. Looked at lots of jackets and got some advice in store.
Have to say in my experience this jacket is great, fits very well, the hood is great with enough support in the peak so you can adjust it and always see what you are doing and where you are going.
I've been out in some really torrential rain, working locks etc and remained bone dry!
If you buy this you will need waterproof trousers as all the water that runs off the jacket has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is down ;-)
Plenty of pockets, good zips and storm flap with press stud fasteners.
The fleece is OK, not great, but OK. In an ideal world I'd like just a little more length in the body.
Would personally recommend this jacket.

sprayway are in my opinion the best brand, but this jacket let me down, its a nice jacket and fitted well, its windproof, i was cycling in moderate rain for 5 mins and all my back was drenched, the rain got into the front aswell, oddly i had a gore-tex pro shell that did the same thing, total let down and ripped off, hydro dry is much better in my view
