The Women's Sprayway Atlanta Waterproof Jacket is the perfect introduction to walking jackets, with everything you need to take you from civilian to explorer. Whether you need comfort and protection for a Duke of Edinburgh award, a camping trip, or a hike on the hills - the Atlanta is the ideal jacket for you.
Breathable, windproof and fully waterproof thanks to Sprayway's hydro/dry fabric, this has everything you need for a day of walking. The interactive front zip means you can zip-in a separate fleece if you have one, to make a warm winter jacket.
At a sturdy yet lightweight 628g and in a variety of colours, the Atlanta can be compacted to fit in your rucksack or suitcase and worn as a second skin when conditions are against you.
A wire-peaked, volume adjustable fixed hood and storm flaps over the zips mean that rain won't stop play, whilst the map pocket and two hand pockets ensure you can have all your essentials close without having to dig into your rucsack. The hood can be held in place neatly when not in use, thanks to a retaining flap and press-stud.

Sprayway ladies waterproof, 27 November 2014

Excellent service from Gooutdoors. Parcel arrived less than 48 hours after ordering.
Coat is fantastic. Waterproof, a good length, especially at the back so you can sit on the coat tail .
Very comfortable to wear and no build up of moisture inside the coat after exertion on walks. Hood is a good size and stays in place. Would definitely purchase another in the future.
Great Jacket, Brilliant Brand, 30 September 2014

I had a Sprayway jacket for years and, having served my waterproof needs since 2008, it finally succumbed to me accidentally leaving it in a pub after a wedding in August.
The Atlanta Sprayway is a great option for the discerning female who doesn't like being persistently rained on. It has a good fit and a range of sizes, a hood that importantly doesn't detach (so you can't lose it like I did; seems to be a theme). It's robust and not like some female versions of coats that are either bulky and only available in bright pink or too 'feminised' to offer much in the way of protection at all.
I use this coat for cycling in my commute and the tapered hem is really helpful during the absence of my mudguards (yep, I lost them). Walking wise, I've so far only used it at Edinburgh Fringe but the weather was changeable and it was very easy to either just wear it as a light coat or carry it in my bag and quickly pop it on when the torrential rain started.
I'm heading over to Canada in February and will be getting the fleece that can be zipped into it - the option of buying them separately really helps to split the cost. Over there, I'm sure I'll be making full use of the multitudinous pockets and the windproofing as well.
Knowing from experience that Sprayway are a great brand, this coat will last me many years to come.

This jacket has had quite a few outings now ... today was a 12 mile walk with winds and constant heavy rain. I finished bone dry ... hood stays up no problem too. Extremely happy with this purchase, good value for money jacket!

My wife is very pleased with the design. Of. The jacket for the following reasons: the jacket is long enough to allow a fleece layer to be worn underneath and the length keeps her bottom dry!
The wired hood keeps its shape and keeps out the elements and the hood can be worn without resorting to wearing a hat under it unless it is very cold. The manufacture of the jacket is of a high quality.
