Excellent bit of Kit, 05 October 2011
By Granty (Scotland)
My son has used this for the past few months and to be honest, I cannot believe how well it has survived. He has been on an extended holiday backpacking all over Europe and has just come back. This bag looks as good as it did when we first bought it for him back in May, having traveled well over 5k miles. He has climbed in the Alps, and loafed around at the beach and he has raved about it since he got home. Nice to know we have at least got one thing right before he leaves us for Uni!

Outstanding piece of kit, 05 September 2011

You can see why the Duke of Edinburgh reccomends this rucksack, I have used this for 10 months and has made my expedition experience so much more pleasureable. No more back pains or aches thanks to the padding system and good hip belt. A perfect size for taking your kit in whatever level of the Duke of Edinburgh you are undertaking with a list as long as your arm of features! a 5 star piece of kit, well done Vango! engineering genius!

Everything I needed and more, 30/05/2011, 30 May 2011

Purchased this rucksack with the three peaks in mind, having tried pretty much every other backpack in store. Bag fitted well and the self adjust system bent to my back quickly and easily.
As the bag is made by Vango you have the support direct from the manufacturer (which I used to discuss the self adjust system) and they were fantastic.
Bag has loads of different pockets and sections and for one a rain cover that doesn't flap about in high winds.
Personally I would suggest a canoe sack or other waterproof liner as the bag is only shower proof, but the rain cover is fully waterproof and is a HIGHLY bright cover.
All in all, the bag is great for long walks or weekends away.
