A quality rock shoe for more technical climbing.
With a more aggressive pointed toe and asymmetric profile the Scarpa Vapour V
provides plenty of precision and control.
Scarpa's Slingshot-Power™ mid-sole provides long-term support helping the shoe maintain its form, and they are fitted with Vibram XS Edge rubber soles for a high friction finish.

Best Shoes So Far, 24 October 2013
By trwolfe (Oxford, UK)
I bought these after the store I visited didn't have the La Sportiva Miura VS in my size, and I didn't want to wait. I can happily say I wasn't disappointed.
The Vapours are very comfortable shoe, providing I take them off for a couple of minutes every hour, I can wear them all day without any discomfort. The rubber sole is very stiff, making it brilliant for edging, but I found it did slip a little on some of the sharper smears. The toe is nice and sharp which makes it brilliant for precise foot placements, and the velcro makes them very easy to adjust/remove as necessary.
I've had these shoes for about a month now, and they haven't stretched at all, so be sure not to buy them too small. They also have a tendency to dig in around the back of the angle, but they don't leave anything more than a red mark so you shouldn't have to worry about blisters. I'm sure a bit of finger tape would solve that problem, though. If you've had trouble with your climbing shoes smelling, you should be pleasently surprised.
After a month of intensive use, my Vapours haven't absorbed any foot odour at all, without the need for any preventative measures. I imagine this is owing to the fact that they don't have a cotton lining like my last pair. They also leave my feet orange after use, but that shouldn't be an issue if you're looking for a performance shoe.
Overall, I am extremely happy with these shoes. They have been my best pair yet (I still think I'm gonna give the Miuras a go after I've worn these out, though).

well i love these shoes there comfortable and really good on technical stuff you can smear with them but there not great at it.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING SIZE.
as this is the uk you would expect them to be on the site in uk sizes. I phoned and ordered these in a uk 8 and in the notes specified a uk8 us9 and eu42 size sadly I've still have a eu41 us8 uk 7 arrive in the post this can be sorted by going to a store to collect a different size and they can order your size in to store from a different store but this can take a while.
so top marks shoes!
nearly there with the service.
Best shoes I've had yet, 18 January 2013
By ChrisHunter (St Helens)
My last pair of shoes where Scrapa Thunders and with having narrow feet the fit was great but I wanted a pair of more aggressive Velcro shoes. I tried over a dozen different shoes, 5.10, Evolve, La Sportiva and even Scarpa Force but the toe box and middle of the shoes were never fitted enough.
They're a bit cheaper than Anasazi which everyone raves about (they felt too baggy for me) and I've had these for around 6 months now and they've hardly stretched.
100% buy these again!
Great shoe!!, 18 December 2012
I've had this shoe for 8 months and it's great for sport climbing, indoor sessions, and bouldering. The precision of the toe is excellent and the heel stays exactly where you want it without the painful pull on the ankle you get with other aggressive shoes. A great choice from someone looking for something more aggressive. Plan on buying another pair when this one wears out!
