Scarpa's most luxurious and comfortable 3-season leather boot.
The Scarpa Delta GTX Activ
is a full leather 3 season boot which boasts Scarpa’s® 'ActivFit' technology for continual optimum comfort and performance.
Scarpa's ActivFit provides instant, out-of-the-box comfort and performance. Built on their superb BD last, it makes sure that your foot stays continually supported and secure, aided by AutoFit foam inserts in the heel area.
The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining is ultra-lightweight and extremely breathable, keeping outer moisture away from the foot and wicking inner vapours away from the skin.
Underfoot, the Biometric sole uses dual density PU to maintain the highest performance and quality. The midsole is reinforced with an additional moulded thermo plastic shank (TPU), and the Vibram outsole finishes it off.
- Last: BD
- Sole: Vibram Biometric
- Upper: Calf Leather
A recently designed last, allowing for exceptional foot-hold with enough volume for plenty of cushioning.
The new Vibram Biometric sole unit is lightweight yet extremely sturdy, anatomically designed for increased comfort.
Activ Fit Sock Liner
Scarpa®'s developed moulded sock liner specifically for men, providing the best comfort and support.
Heel Tension System
Offers great stability and adaptability to the severe stress derived from steep routes.
A special "MEMORY FOAM" padding that further improves the ability of self-moulding of the rear part of the upper. Very light and breathable, it keeps its dynamic memory, so it recovers its original shape after every use.
Ensures the maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, resisting the impact stress on the Achilles and malleous area. Great performance and comfort on any terrain.
Allows a wider and more natural movement of the foot. The upper, in synergy with the lacing, wraps the foot in an optimal way for maximum comfort and support.
Allows the optional adjustment of the internal volumes of the shoe and the perfect wrapping of the foot, in a simple and quick way.

Bootiful!, 25 August 2015
By Footsore Nomore. (Lake District)
Had an old pair of Salomons that were as comfy as slippers 'till they started leaking. Decided to go for a pair of these as replacements as "she who must be obeyed" has had 2 pairs and swears by (not at) them.
Have to say the old girl isn't wrong. As other people have said, comfy straight out of the box. Did Cat Bells, Maiden Moor & High Spy after only wearing the boots a matter of minutes in the shop. Following day went up the full Helvellyn ridge in almost horizontal rain. Bloody miserable weather, but super comfy feet.
Can't praise these boots highly enough! Get some.
Look after your boots!, 16 August 2015
By Emily (South Downs)
These boots are excellent IF THEY FIT YOU.
I'm appalled at some of the negative reviews below. If they were not comfortable from the box, and if you get blisters with them all the time it is because they do not fit you. Unless you know what you are doing, do not buy boots off the internet - go to a shop and get fitted. It may come as a surprise, but feet come in all shapes and sizes.
If you leave them wet and don't look after them they will eventually leak. Dry them out naturally, wax them and look after your boots and they will last forever. Make sure that you remove small stones etc from inside because they will tear the lining and although they are covered in leather all of this compromises the waterproofing.
It's sad to see people recommending that you chuck your boots after a year - so wasteful. Boots can last 20+ years!

fantastic boot(the leather lined one), 09 March 2015
By the wandering Scout (firstname.lastname@example.org)
I'm sort of reviewing this boot but I purchased the none goretex one's nearly two years ago and am somewhat puzzled and bemused by some of the leaking reviews on here about the goretex version as at the time I thought I had scrimped on not spending the extra money as I managed to do the old price match and got them for a bargain and saved about £60 getting the wonderful leather lined version. Anyway I'm a Scout Leader and DofE leader and have taken these from Snowdon in you guessed it rain, to the Peak District in February and did micro navigation training in around a foot of snow to the wonderful Brecon beacons in you guessed again rain for two days. These trips have all been done multiple times along with many other walks that I would hate to add the mileage up on in the same boots and each time upon sliding my feet out have looked down upon a lovely pair of dry bridgdale socks. I follow the same regime when I get back clean with warm water allow to dry naturally and then treat with nikwax. I love these boots now like a dear old friend and have only the one pair of walking boots as they are always a weary and large investment to start with so with the knowledge they are not strictly advertised as waterproof would it be to much of an assumption to say that maybe, just maybe that perhaps the leather is looked after a little better than my friends and colleagues with their presumed and taken for granted fully waterproof not very often cleaned and treated thrown in the corner when finished with goretex boot's????
Ps a dear friend of mine commented recently that cows don't leak and neither should your boot's!
