Scarpa's most luxurious and comfortable 3-season leather boot.
The Scarpa Delta GTX Activ is a full leather 3 season boot which boasts Scarpa’s® 'ActivFit' technology for continual optimum comfort and performance.
Scarpa's ActivFit provides instant, out-of-the-box comfort and performance. Built on their superb BD last, it makes sure that your foot stays continually supported and secure, aided by AutoFit foam inserts in the heel area.
The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining is ultra-lightweight and extremely breathable, keeping outer moisture away from the foot and wicking inner vapours away from the skin.
Underfoot, the Biometric sole uses dual density PU to maintain the highest performance and quality. The midsole is reinforced with an additional moulded thermo plastic shank (TPU), and the Vibram outsole finishes it off.
- Last: BD
- Sole: Vibram Biometric
- Upper: Calf Leather
A recently designed last, allowing for exceptional foot-hold with enough volume for plenty of cushioning.
The new Vibram Biometric sole unit is lightweight yet extremely sturdy, anatomically designed for increased comfort.
Activ Fit Sock Liner
Scarpa®'s developed moulded sock liner specifically for men, providing the best comfort and support.
Heel Tension System
Offers great stability and adaptability to the severe stress derived from steep routes.
A special "MEMORY FOAM" padding that further improves the ability of self-moulding of the rear part of the upper. Very light and breathable, it keeps its dynamic memory, so it recovers its original shape after every use.
Ensures the maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, resisting the impact stress on the Achilles and malleous area. Great performance and comfort on any terrain.
Allows a wider and more natural movement of the foot. The upper, in synergy with the lacing, wraps the foot in an optimal way for maximum comfort and support.
Allows the optional adjustment of the internal volumes of the shoe and the perfect wrapping of the foot, in a simple and quick way.

Awfully comfortable, 09 June 2014
By Richard (London)
Purchased these as my old ones had seen better days. Their first outing was up a sodden Helvellyn. Very very comfy, and no signs of leaking. Got a small blister on my big toe, but nothing nasty. In fact, they were so comfy, i was more than happy to wear them the next day. Solid on wet rock too. A great great boot i would highly recommend.

I am 6'4" and 22 stone and since the first time I wore them they were amazing no need to break them in, just so comfy nothing is squeezing anywhere, a miracle, lots of support and after doing Ben Nevis in cheap boots that cost me a toe nail and lots of blisters this is Rolls Royce to me. I might start wearing it for work as I'm in the building game.

Can I just preface this by saying that I love to add a positive review to any product. That said I cant do that with these boots that I have had a few months now. I have done over 150 miles in them and I am still getting blisters on both feet at the second toe. I have tried good liner and Trekker socks but to no avail. More recently I tried expensive insoles which caused fierce toe pain. I bought these after careful consideration and having read every review there was to read. I would not expect to have such problems from high end footwear such as these. They were certainly not comfortable 'straight from the box' and as I have mentioned above they continue to be problematic..........sorry.

My old Scarpa leather boots died after 10 yrs of use.
These have been in use now for 6 months. Love them.
Leather better than gortex
Like the front rubber toe protector, takes the knocks.
Treated with scarpa paste from new. They have been used loads. Dry and wet and very very wet.
No leaks as yet. Dry warm feet.
Good boots and worth the price.
Not as heavy as my old pair but still quality.
Soles seen to hold well on rocks.
River crossing no worries.
But them now!!!
Poor CS from Scarpa - Price to value very bad, 06 February 2014

I had a pair of these that performed very well for 12 months (given their price tag I'd expect 5+ years out of a boot in this price bracket). They started leaking at 18 months, Go-outdoors, Scarpa and goretex all not interested as over 12 months old even given the price).
My advice avoid Scarpa, buy a budget brand like Hi-Tec Ottawa WP Waterproof Walking Boots and throw them away each year and get a new pair, will be able to do that for 4 years against a scarpa)
