Features

Scarpa's most luxurious and comfortable 3-season leather boot.

GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort FootwearThe Scarpa Delta GTX Activ is a full leather 3 season boot which boasts Scarpa’s® 'ActivFit' technology for continual optimum comfort and performance.

Scarpa's ActivFit provides instant, out-of-the-box comfort and performance. Built on their superb BD last, it makes sure that your foot stays continually supported and secure, aided by AutoFit foam inserts in the heel area.

The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining is ultra-lightweight and extremely breathable, keeping outer moisture away from the foot and wicking inner vapours away from the skin.

Underfoot, the Biometric sole uses dual density PU to maintain the highest performance and quality. The midsole is reinforced with an additional moulded thermo plastic shank (TPU), and the Vibram outsole finishes it off.

Autofit Collar
Ensures the maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, resisting the impact stress on the Achilles and malleous area.  Great performance and comfort on any terrain.
V-Flex
Allows a wider and more natural movement of the foot. The upper, in synergy with the lacing, wraps the foot in an optimal way for maximum comfort and support.

fantastic boot(the leather lined one), 09 March 2015
By the wandering Scout (kingjason681@gmail.com)
I'm sort of reviewing this boot but I purchased the none goretex one's nearly two years ago and am somewhat puzzled and bemused by some of the leaking reviews on here about the goretex version as at the time I thought I had scrimped on not spending the extra money as I managed to do the old price match and got them for a bargain and saved about £60 getting the wonderful leather lined version. Anyway I'm a Scout Leader and DofE leader and have taken these from Snowdon in you guessed it rain, to the Peak District in February and did micro navigation training in around a foot of snow to the wonderful Brecon beacons in you guessed again rain for two days. These trips have all been done multiple times along with many other walks that I would hate to add the mileage up on in the same boots and each time upon sliding my feet out have looked down upon a lovely pair of dry bridgdale socks. I follow the same regime when I get back clean with warm water allow to dry naturally and then treat with nikwax. I love these boots now like a dear old friend and have only the one pair of walking boots as they are always a weary and large investment to start with so with the knowledge they are not strictly advertised as waterproof would it be to much of an assumption to say that maybe, just maybe that perhaps the leather is looked after a little better than my friends and colleagues with their presumed and taken for granted fully waterproof not very often cleaned and treated thrown in the corner when finished with goretex boot's????
Ps a dear friend of mine commented recently that cows don't leak and neither should your boot's!

Can't make my mind up, 29 December 2014
By The Gairloch One (Gairloch)
As with NeptuneUK my pair started to leak at 18 months and I too was not happy as I had paid extra for the Goretex & expected them to last long enough to be re-soled at least once! However on reflection they have been very comfortable - except on warm summer mornings when they do not breath as well as expected - and until recently, waterproof. Considering they have spent most of the 18 months soaked, basically allowing them to dry once every couple of weeks to treat the leather, and despite the sole being at best half worn, I do not think they have done too badly. Would I buy another pair, probably not but only because of the lack of customer care shown to NeptuneUKby Scarpa (not that I have any hope anyone else is any better).

Scarpa Delta GTX, 21 December 2014
By sidewaysid (Manchester)
I have been a walking boot wearer since the late 70s, so I think I know a thing or two. Over the last 3 years I decided to try out some of the lighter Goretex boots, however only a Month ago I ended up with soggy feet on a Lakeland fell, I was going to dig out my old boots, but as I was flush decided to check out some new boots, I tried quite a few but ended up purchasing the Scarps Delta GTX. The first time on was a very wet and cold walk up Loughrigg fell, and I simply didn't think about my feet as they were so comfy and warm, I then did Silver Howe and Black Crag without a problem, they are so nice right from the start. Cleaning them is a doddle with a sponge and warm water, then a coating of Nikwax leather waterproofing. I recommended these boots to anyone, and I won't name names but they punch above the others, also thanks to the footwear staff at Ancoats, they are very helpful. Phil Clark

Awfully comfortable, 09 June 2014
By Richard (London)
Purchased these as my old ones had seen better days. Their first outing was up a sodden Helvellyn. Very very comfy, and no signs of leaking. Got a small blister on my big toe, but nothing nasty. In fact, they were so comfy, i was more than happy to wear them the next day. Solid on wet rock too. A great great boot i would highly recommend.
