Awe-inspiring!, 25 February 2010
By Mountain Goat
Its not easy to be awe-inspired by a pair of socks but these heavy weight Merino wool socks were excellent from the start to the finish of any low and higher level treks I have subjected them to.
Like boots, fitting socks can be a very personal experience – I found them comfortable to wear, with no tightening or rubbing around the ankles, heels or toes and left my feet relatively odour free after full day walks.

EXCELLENT VALUE, 15 February 2010

BOUGHT THESE OVER A YEAR AGO AND, DESPITE BEING WORN CONSTANTLY, THEY SHOW LITTLE WEAR AND WASH VERY WELL.
THEY STAY UP WITHOUT BEING TOO TIGHT AND HAVE AN EXCELLENT GENERAL FIT WITH NO ANNOYING SEAM RUB AT THE TOES.
ALL THE BENEFITS OF MERINO WOOL AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.
I'D BUY THEM AGAIN, IN FACT I HAVE - NOW HAVE FOUR PAIRS.
ONLY POTENTIAL DISADVANTAGE I CAN THINK OF IS THAT THE TERRY KNIT (ADVANTAGE FOR WARMTH) MAKES THESE SOCKS BULKY WHICH CAN MEAN THAT BOOTS/SHOES WITH LITTLE SPACE BECOME TIGHT.

very warm for winter walking, and wicking enough for warmer weather too, good value.
