Use for mountain and trail running and they are perfect. they deal with scree, boulders, dirt tracks, heather, streams etc very easily. had a mate who ran in the goretex version and his feet were as wet as mine after 2 miles and stayed wet for the whole route after. good enough for road use as well but i wouldnt use them just for road running. lacing system is easy to use and pocket to tuck laces away on tounge is nice touch. great simple product, tought to beat.

Firstly these are at a great price, more expensive in specialist running shops. Highly recommended for serious trails, perfect for off road/ stoney/ tree roots/ woodland type of use. Can be used on tarmac but can feel abit heavy compared to road shoes but still not that bad. Does struggle slightly in very bad conditions and wet mud/slop and i would'nt use for fell running- for this i'd go for the speedcross version. They fit small so go for 1/2 size bigger. Lacing system works well and they look great.
