The Midsole is
cushioned enough for around a 50km race while the
Ortholite sock liner brings more comfort for before and after the race. If they do get wet, they drain off quickly and because they aren't coated with a waterproof membrane, they are breathable and cool in the heat of the race-( but if you want waterproofing, look at the GTX version instead.)
Because these are designed for speed and agility and have a very snug fit, you may find you need a size larger than your usual trail running shoes. They are also made with soft studs that give exceptional grip in mud and grass, but beware that these will wear down if used on pavement!

I recently got back into running (well jogging), and found that the trainers I was using weren't supporting me properly. I bought these after trying them on in the shop. What can I say ... the improvement in my running was immediate, I went further, easier and more confidently than before - go figure. They were comfy straight out of the box, felt secure, easy to get on and off (although I didn't want to take them off). May have to buy a second pair, just to make sure ... ;)

I bought these after having my feet being destroyed by a different brand,What a great move these are without doubt the best trail shoes I have ever put on my feet.Infact since purchasing these 2 others at work have done the same.
They from day 1 are wearable straight into a big hard trail run ,no problems.I have ran tons of miles since buying these in October.the only isse I have is that the left one is now split across the crease of the forefoot area.I have enjoyed every minute of these but even at Go outdoors prices 4 months is not a great deal of time to be splitting. i was advised to take them in to the store to be looked at but i live planets away from the nearest store and well they are so good i will just run till destroyed and get some more !!!!
