Outer pitching first, the
Hi Gear Sahara 6 Family Tent will keep you dry whilst putting up the spacious inner bedrooms via
Easy Pitch technology.
A spacious family tent with a 3.8m diameter central living area is designed for up to
6 people to spend the week away from home.
Protected with a
3000mm Hydrostatic Head, the Sahara 6 will withstand a heavy downpour and the reinforced groundsheet stops water seeping into the bedrooms and living areas.
Plenty of
ventilation points means that you can keep cool in the warm, or warm in the cold whilst the
PVC windows allow huge amounts of light into the living areas.
Along with all of this, the
Sahara 6 has hanging fittings, a double guy system, a very large porch and electric cable zip access. You can also extend the shelter and coverage of the tent, by adding on the
Sahara 6 Canopy to give you and your fellow campers more room.
And why not add some extra stability, protection and comfort to your camping experience with the
Sahara 6 carpet and the
Sahara 6 footprint?
Going away with the family? Pack a
Sahara 6 and you'll be comfortable for the whole trip.

On first view the tent seems like a bargain...we bought it, went on an overnighter just to get used to putting the tent up, and thought everything was ok. However you soon find out the downsides to the tent. They state the groundsheet is fully sewn in...to me this should mean that you can zip the outside world out...especially spiders (important for a spider phobic wife), however the end of one of the bedroom compartments is not stitched to the groundsheet, and can only be sealed with a load of duck tape...also I have had problems with the fibreglass poles to put the tent up...to date i have had three poles split...including the one at the front of the entrance...all the poles split in the wind we had on our campsite...whereas no other tent suffered...on reflection i would advise that you purchase a tent with aluminium rods rather than fibreglass poles...when you question GO Outdoors they state that this is explained at the point of purchase...I disagree...however this may have changed based on feedback that they have received...A good tent....just....worth the money....just...but invest a bit more time and money and get a tent with metal poles...not one with fibreglass poles that are such an odd size you have to go back to GO to buy other poles...believe me I searched all campsites and camping shops around Weymouth and none of them could find a FG pole the same size as the one I wanted

This is our 1st family tent and what a fantastic choice we made. Not only does it look good but amazing amount of room, we are a family of 3 and 1 dog, we tried to pitch it in our back garden to practice but it wouldn't fit so we pitched it on the front lawn, our 4 year old loved it his 1st camping trip and had so much space. We bought the carpet which is a must and the footprint which made pitching alot easier. I have just bought the extension and will be using that on our next trip. Very pleased we bought this tent and looking forward to many trips away this year.

Bought this tent 3 months ago and have used it a couple of times.
What a fantastic tent and well worth its money it not only looks good it also does everything you expect from a family tent. Nice and easy to put up every pole is colour coded. The forst time we used this tent we had the storm of all storms but this didn't phase the Sahara 6 if your after a sturdy tent this is the one to buy.
Inside the tent is very spacious and so are the sleeping pods. Large pvc windows in the living area make this tent nice and bright inside and along with numerous vents it is also very airey.
I only have one fault with this tent and that is the mesh door I would much prefer it to have been the same as the rest of the tent although there is another door which slopes so the rain runs off it but this has to be zipped up and unzipped on your hands and knees as it closes and opens with the zip right at the bottom on the ground and with the sloping door this makes it hard to reach. Other than that its a lovely spacious sturdy tent which easily houses 6 people with room to spare
