Be aware that although this could have been a very useful addition to any caravan or camping trip, the burner is of appallingly poor quality! The burner rusts through within the first or second season and, according to Royal Leisure when I contacted them, NO SPARES ARE AVAILABLE!
Quote from the Royal Leisure website for this item "we would expect the barbecue to provide a couple of seasons of occasional use".
Cheaper to buy disposable barbecues.

Following on from my previous review, had our Royal BBQ about a year now & used on several caravan outings, it has perfomed well every time, last time cooking for 5 people. The only slight fault is that it sometimes goes out iwhen you put the lid on, however the lid is not needed to get it up to heat as it reaches temperature very quickly.
Looking forward to many more hastle free BBQ's in the coming years. Would happily recommend to anyone, no need to spend a fortune on an expensive gas BBQ, get a Royal.

This is a great little bbq, assembles in seconds, folds up for tranportation, and after easily connecting a gas cannister, heats up in moments. Comes supplied with lava rocks so ready to use. very pleased with this purchase and would recomend.
