Made from Isolite matt finish polyamide fabric, the Regatta Splosh Toddler Suit is waterproof, windproof and breathable. It elimates windchill, keeping your toddler fully protected from the elements. The taped seams make sure driving rain won't get in.
Thermo-Guard insulation means air will be trapped in cold conditions to keep your toddler warm whilst still being a soft and lightweight marterial. It is quick dying and easy to care for.
The fleece lining to the body and hood means the suit will be comfortable against the skin.
The fixed hood allows for extra protection to the head to keep it warm and dry in cold weather conditions. A reflective trim finishes the suit allowing the toddler to be visible in the dark.
Regatta Children's Splosh Waterproof Suit, 23 November 2012

I bought 2 pink suits recently for my 3 year old and 1 year old daughters, apart from looking very cute, they were warm and dry during a very messy, wet afternoon! The suits also washed very easily and my friend has since bought one for her son.

We purchased the suit predominantly for use with a baby carrier for our 12mth old daughter but it's also excellent for general outdoor use when damp or wet.
The general fit is good but do ensure there is sufficient room around the crotch area, especially for use with a carrier. We opted for a larger size so hopefully it'll last even longer!
The suit is easy to live with when changing nappies or

This suit is generously sized so you can pack in plenty of extra layers for your toddler if you're going to be out for a while. The inbuilt insulation is surprisingly warm, though, and if the wee one is going to be running about and playing they shouldn't need more than a jumper underneath. The elasticated waist means that you can buy slightly larger than your toddler's size and have plenty of room to grow, but the suit is still usable. And the hood is a good shape too; it stays up, and has a peak that keeps rain out of the child's eyes.
We've found that the waterproofing is more than enough to cope with making snow angels or sitting on wet swings.. my daughter absolutely loves the suit, and given half a chance even wears it in the house. I'll definitely be buying it in the next size up for next winter!
