A lightweight waterproof jacket made using Pertex® Shield+ fabric with stretch.
The Rab Volt Jacket is a fully featured mountain jacket that makes best use of its Pertex Shield+ construction.
It boasts a water resistant front zip, 3 external, mesh lined pockets (that can double as vents) plus large pit zips for when you're working really hard!
The voluminous hood can be adjusted down when you aren't using a helmet and rolled completely out of the way when not in use.
All this with only a tiny 400g weight, and it can be packed very easily into any small space in your pack.

This jacket is top rate. ****** six stars!
At the price, it's exceptional value for money, it is so well designed, using good materials, soft and comfortable to wear.
Innovative way of venting the jacket with deep zip vents that can also be map pockets etc. Pockets are deep enough to stop stuff falling out. The hood is superbly adjustable.
The sleeves are a generous length enough to connect with gloves or just shrug down to cover your hands.
The jacket is light enough to use for running or mtn biking, though I got it for hill/mtn walking and going out with the dog!
Oh and it is stretchy, it breathes fine and is waterproof & windproof, in fact the water stands in tiny, tiny droplets on the surface and disappear with a shake!
I've had Berghaus, Marmot, Alpine Lowe & The North Face breathable jackets over the years and this beats them all hands down on features-performance-value.
Layer it with different fleece weights and it's a proper mountain jacket.
If it holds together as well as it looks it's made, then I"ll be happy. I hope there is another version of this jacket when I've worn this one to death as so far it's been worn nearly everyday this wet summer!
