The down sits neatly between stitch through inner baffles to reduce weight and eliminate cold spots and, crammed with 250g of down, offers a substantial 660+ fill power.
An adjustable down-filled hood will take over when your hat is rendered too wet or not warm enough, and if needed the whole jacket can be packed away into a stuff sac. Adjustable cuffs and hem drawcord help seal in further heat whilst keeping the cold out.
