The streamlined women's specific shape offers a great fit with no excess fabric, amking the Microlight Vest perfect as a mid layer for hillwalking, mountain trekking or skiing.
It's ideal under a waterproof or windproof outer layer, but the Petrex Microlight outer shell on it's own will prevent excessive heat loss, and is windproof, water-repellent and very durable. The tight weave also prevents any down from poking through.
Zipped pockets give you secure carriage for your bits of gear, and the whole gilet can be stuffed into its own pocket for simple storage.
