Reviews
Not for persistent rain, 17 January 2012
By al_mac (Holmbridge)
I bought this jacket to wear on long runs in bad weather. The wind proofing in excellent for exposed tops but it cannot cope with more than 30mins of heavy drizzle. Disappointing! Other than that i find the hood excellent and the pockets great for venting, although don't put anything in them you want to keep dry. Overall the weather protection is ok for the weight of the jacket but not the price.

Great looks poor extreme performance, 27 December 2011
By Nick (South Yorkshire)
I Have worn this jacket on a few walks throughout Cumbria and the peak district. Works well in light rain and is very wind proof. I have however just done a winter walk on Bowfell in extreme wet weather. Put my mobile in the breast pocket thinking it was the driest place. Unfortunately the pockets filled with water and acted like a balloon. Phone completely broken. As previous reviewer has stated the pockets have a severe design floor. Expensive jacket when you have to replace your phone as well.

Disappointing Jacket, 07 December 2011

Considering the price you spend on a good waterproof, you would expect it to be just that. This jacket unfortunately is not. I have used this jacket for a winter climbing season in scotland as well as all other conditions walking and climbing throughout the UK and have been let down again and again even with Nikwax reproofing . Saying that, I loved the fit and look of the jacket, great if you're only using it for a day trip up Snowdon, for anything more prepare to get wet.
