Features
A high quality, high performance, luxuriously warm and comfortable sleeping bag with a low weight.
Rab's Ascent range of sleeping bags use Pertex® Microlight inner and outer fabric that is extremely durable and breathable, which keeps wind and water out, and keeps the down in.
The Rab Ascent 900 sleeping bag uses Fill power US650+ 80/20 goose down for an exceptional warmth to weight ratio. All Ascent bags are hand-filled in Rab's factory in Derbyshire.
The Ascent 900's roomy semi-rectangular foot area gives you space to move without losing insulation, which is great for those who don't like the restriction of a mummy shaped bag. The 3/4 length YKK 5-coil main zip provides easy access and ventilation.
The Pertex Microlight* outer shell and inner lining is ultra-light and very densely woven, holding the goose down fill in place without sacrificing breathability.
The Rab Ascent 900 sleeping bag comes with two storage sacks - a large storage/carry sack, and a compression stuff sack. This gives you the option of compacting the bag down to conserve space in your kit, or keeping it uncompressed for long term storage, to preserve the down.
- Pertex® Microlight® inner and outer fabric
- Wide semi-rectangular mummy shape
- Proportionally assigned differential cut
- Internal zipped stash pocket
- Anti zip snag webbing tape
- Internal collar and hood draw cord
- Trapezoidal baffle chamber design, angled foot box

* Pertex Microlight's dense weave prevents excessive heat loss through the fabric, actually making the sleeping bag warmer without adding weight. Using 33 decitex/30 denier yarns, it is both downproof and windproof, water-repellent and durable.

Amazingly warm sleeping bag, 11 May 2013
By Eddie
I used this in the lake district when there was gale force winds, very heavy rain and below freezing temperatures but i was toasty warm. If you can afford it then get it. I found it so warm once you i got in it and would quite happily use it even in the worst winter nights up mountains. In summer i just undo the zip and find it very comftable to use.
Expensive, but worth it!, 19 March 2013

Great Sleeping bag. Lightweight and extremely cosy once inside and it is freezing cold outside. Bought it to go hiking in the mountains and needed something light. Have since used it on Bushcraft weekends together with a bivi bag and whilst some others complaint it was cold, I had no complaints at all. If you can afford it, buy it. Make sure you keep it dry though!
