Bought this item as thought would be more sturdier. Looks very nice and easy to assemble, however each seat laths is hollow therefore when someone sits on the seat they get dented. Cheaply made and should really be taken of the shelf and remodelled with stronger or perhaps solid laths

This was bought for camping holidays, but will also be used for daytrips and picnics. We borrowed a plastic one last year and although a bit flimsy was perfect for two adults and two young kids. This aluminium one is much sturdier with a quality feel and isn't that much heavier than the plastic one. I think it's definitely worth spending a bit more on the aluminium version.
