Essential item., 30 December 2010

This TNF product is impressively comfortable and hard-wearing. Made from a fleece 'fabric' that does well in retaining the comfort, flexibility, and breathability of traditional fleeces. The lack of arms or gilet style is excellent for those who do not like the constrictions when layering or tend to get hot when undergoing activity. True, it is not a replacement for a winter fleece, but I have used it countless times in sub zero temps under a berghaus shell and have remained comfortable. The sizing (L) is spot on for me and not restrictive as other gilets have been.

A great middle layer which has been used in cool summer evenings and as part of a layered system in the winter. Highly recommended.

a must have item!!, 26 January 2010

the TNF gilet is a must have peice of clothing for any outdoor enthusiast (well infact just anyone really!).
it adds a good layer of warmth in the winter (without the bulkyness in the sleeves), and can worn on its own for those cooler spring days and summer nights.....
large pockets, a great cut, and the added bonus of 'windwall' fabric
essential for layering and just a great all round versatile piece of kit....
only given it 4 stars as it does get a bit tired looking after a while (but i have had it in the washer loads.....plus works well with the nikwaks fleece proof stuff!)
