rain or shine, maybe not snow..., 03 December 2010
By Matt
these really are a brilliant pair of gloves. The tight fit means they are never slipping and that they trap warmth really efficiently, I managed to use these last year in a particularly cold scottish winter for ten days straight climbing and falling over in waist high snow, my hands were never uncomfortably cold but, the outer layer is not completely waterpoof itself, so when they do get wet below freezing the outer layer tends to freeze over, making them very stiff and obtrusive of natural movement. but then again they are not recomended for winter usage.
otherwise they are an awesome glove!!

A Must Have!, 21 April 2010
By DC
After getting fed up of taking multiple gloves on weekends and weeks away in the mountains I stumbled upon these when looking for an alternative.

They have kept my hands dry and warm on many a wet day in the mountains. The tight fit provides brilliant dexterity, I have yet to find something I can not do with them on.

Brilliant gloves with great dexterity, 23 February 2010
By GL8SSY (Oxfordshire)
I have been using these gloves for many years now both in winter and summer because of the incredible dexterity they provide. The insulation is minimal meaning that in winter they can be a bit chilly when you're not using your hands. Great for rock climbing because of the great grip and finger movement although could be slightly warmer

Excellent and worth the money, 26 January 2010
By dammitjanet (Stockport)
After a particularly wet and cold walk in Wales where my fleece gloves quickly became soaked and freezing, I decided I needed waterproof but non-bulky gloves. These are guaranteed waterproof and they truly are. In the recent snowy weather I tested them by wearing them to clear snow off my car by hand, and my hands stayed perfectly dry and warm.

My only slight issue is that I find the fingers a little tight, but I'm hoping they'll 'give' a little with some more wear. These gloves are definitely worth the money as they do what they're supposed to.

Do the job, 26 January 2010
By ASW1 (Midlands)
Have seen varied reviews on these - some evangellical and others slagging them off.
Have used them over a 3 month period yachting day and night. They are totally windproof, comfortabl, warm and stayed dry. They are surprising easy to do tasks in despite looking a bit chunky - so no need to keep taking off and on.
They aren't the most sophisticated/technical looking items, but for my purposes performed very well, and were significantly better than more expensive/technical sailing gloves (which are more like ski gloves).
I would expect these to perfom just as well for things like winter walking and skiiing.
The sales lady that sold them to me says that she uses them for kayaking and thinks they're great. I would certainly look at using them next time I need some warmth sea kayaking - accepting that they probably will get wet iin that situation, but are close fitting, merino lined and have a good grip.

Yes thats what its says in the description, but yes they are all what it says .

Very comfortable and waterproof windproof and great because you can still grip with your fingers.
