I bought these for my boyfriend for work. With them being cheap, we didnt expect them to be as good as they are!! So we bought him another pair!! Excellent value!!

Good Value, 03 December 2010
By Douglas (Basingstoke)
I brought these trousers in Navy to wear along side my Scout activity trousers and have found them to be hard wearing and able to take the rough and tumble that goes when doing Scouting Activities.

I also like the fact that they have got Zip pockets on the legs as well as the covensional flap pockekets as well as a zip pocket on the hips as well as the convensional pockets, enabling you to keep valuables etc safe while doing activites. The only downside as as already been said the side hip pockets could do with being a bit deaper

Cheap but good quality, 05 May 2010

These trousers have very good functional aspects about them. Zip pockets, flared leg and rear pockets allowing slightly bulkier items to be carried. They seem to dry quickly, maybe becasue they are thin and light meaning the are able to dry quick. They are pretty tough for what they are too as I am often scrambling along and they have held up really well.

If you are like me and if its really cold wear base layer bottoms under your out trousers these are perfect as they are thin ad light enough to wear both comfortably.

I have rated as 4 stars as the value is excellent but a 5th star would have been given if they had zips on the leg at the bottom to accomodate bigger mountain boots but still a great buy.

great value, 27 April 2010
By kaizersoza (swansea)
I bought 2 pairs of these trousers because for the price they are exceptional value for money. Firstly the good points :- they have 3 zipped pockets, 1 on the hip by the regular pockets and 1 on each leg above the cargo pockets, these pockets keep all your valuables safe whilst out on a hike, the leg zipped pockets are deep enough to swallow a bulky wallet and also keep it relatively dry, the trousers are light comfy and do dry very quickly.
Now the bad points:- they are not waterproof or windproof, yes they will keep your legs dry in a shower and also keep your legs warm in a cold breeze, the side pockets are not very deep and you can easily lose anything you put in these, the cargo pockets are not the largest but again will easily take a wallet.
The sizes could be a little more generous and leg length does what it says on the tin, personally I would buy the longer length next time and buy a size bigger around the waist.
Like I say you pays your money you takes your choice, for the price these trousers are great value and yes I would invest in another pair(or 2) but for more extreme walking and colder temperatures I would spend a bit more for the better protection and quality
